The annual DH-Conference banquet will take place in a beautiful historic venue in the medieval city centre of Utrecht. The Museum Catherijneconvent was originally built as a monastery for members of the Order of the Knights of St. John in the 16th century, and later became Utrecht’s first teaching hospital. Since 1979, this historical building houses the Museum Catharijneconvent, with a collection of manuscripts, book bindings, and historical exhibits ranging from the early medieval period to the 21st century.
During the banquet, you will have the opportunity to enjoy both a walking dinner with your fellow delegates and an entertainment programme in the museum. This programme will include (DH)demonstrations and short lectures about the heritage of Utrecht and the Netherlands.
